In February 2021 we celebrated an early Valentine’s Day at Hilton Brussels Grand Place, in the middle of Brussels. We are Belgian, but we had never celebrated Valentine’s Day this romantically, and the hotel made it very easy.
A Valentine’s stay without any planning
The best part is that we did not have to plan anything ourselves. The hotel took care of the whole experience. Our room was decorated with flower petals, and we had a lovely dinner and a movie night with popcorn and cocktails. It couldn’t have been better for a cosy evening together, which is exactly what you want in a city weekend.
Right in the centre
The hotel is in the centre of Brussels, next to the train station and close to the Grand Place. That makes it an easy base for a city trip. You can arrive by train, and the main sights are within walking distance. We arrived with our suitcases, checked in and were in the centre straight away.
Practical bits
- The hotel is next to Brussels train station, so you do not need a car in the city. If you do drive, the package we offered at the time included 24 hours of parking.
